This months topic is called "Coming Out of the Broom Closet: Your Experiences with Muggles Reactions to you and Fandom"

Many of the non-Harry Potter fans out there consider our fandom a bit strange.

Sometimes after learning more about it they change their opinions and even become fans themselves.

Other times, we might get the thrilling question "You mean those movies?"

Or my personal favorite "How can you play Quidditch if you can't fly?"

At this months meeting, we'll be sharing our stories and experiences with "coming out of the broom closet", when we've told friends / family about our fandom, or the times when they found out inadvertently ;)

We hope to hear stories of how some of us explained it, and hopefully some humorous ancedotes =)
