As the largest IRL Harry Potter fan club in the world, we have a reputation to uphold. As such, it has been our tradition at conventions to dress in our finest robes and gather together about 30 minutes before the opening feast for some fantastic group photos and yes, to show off a bit as we enter the feast as a group.

I do not know the exact location of the Welcoming Feast yet, but I will try to find out ahead of time and then decide on where to meet for the photos.

This MIGHT be information I only find out the day of the con. So I will use a combination of e-mails and text messages to let everyone know where we are meeting.

The feast starts at 1:30pm. So please start arriving at the chosen location at 12:45pm. We will start gathering together and photographing at 1pm and hopefully head to the feast at around 1:15pm so we can get good seats.

Once again, as always, costumes are NOT required, but are encouraged :)

Danny and i will be wearing School Robes aswell.. and my little sister aswell if i can find her robes in time... >=) As long as we Air Conditioning, it doesn't matter how many layers of clothes we have on.. and gatherings like these only happens once in a lifetime so mind over matter... :)

Debbie, are you asking in general or for the Welcome feast? Because for the feast I am wearing robes with school uniform. I might even dress warmer than i should for the formality of it (its indoors anyway). But for the con itself i will probably be in different costume each day. Including costume changes for the Ball and for the NoTW.
