Introduction
Hello! I love all things Harry Potter, and can't wait to discuss the books with new people.
Which character do you relate the most to?
Probably Remus Lupin (although I'm not a dude). I've got the whole disheveled-nerdy exterior covering the periodic wild streak. And I can certainly be scarier than any werewolf when angry!
How did you get to become a fan of HP?
I finally caved to the pop-culture trend, thinking I'd just check it out. But then I read OOTP, and became a die-hard fan.
What is your favorite book? Why?
OOTP-it's probably the most realistic representation of adolescence that I've read. However, I also really love DH. It's amazing how J.K. Rowling is able to tie everything up so cleanly. And we finally get the scoop on Severus Snape!
Who is your favorite character? Why?
Snape. He's the most interesting-he's not a nice person (probably not even a good person), but is dedicated to doing what's right regardless of personal cost (though it's more penance than anything else). And, he's deeply flawed; among other things, he's perpetually stuck in his adolescence, which is sad.
Which house are you a member of?
Slytherin, but I'd probably hang out with Ravenclaws and Gryffindors. Although I can be sneaky, I don't like to be around sneaky people. Totally hypocritical, just like a Slytherin!
